Prof. M.P. Poonia

Dr. M.P. Poonia is specialized in the field of Mechanical Engineering (IC Engines, Gas Dynamics, Ref. & AC), Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development. He is M.Tech (Thermal Engg.) and Ph.D (IC Engines) from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He possesses a vast experience of 30 years. He has published more than 90 research papers in National and International Journals & Conferences and published 10 books and developed 02 Lab Manuals. He has guided number of M.Tech and Ph.D dissertation. Dr. Poonia is the Member of ISTE & Society of Automotive Engineers.

Dr. MP Poonia is presently serving as Vice Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education since 20th January, 2017. Prior to this, he remained as Director, National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh for about 4½ years (since 20th July, 2012 to 18th January, 2017). Dr. Poonia is the recipient of Bharat Mata Award conferred by Indian Institute of Oriental Heritage (an International Institute of Oriental Studies and Research, Kolkata) on 16th August, 2014. On behalf of NITTTR, Chandigarh, he received National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities – 2013 by the Hon’ble President of India on 3rd December, 2013 in New Delhi in recognition of outstanding performance in the field of Best Institution for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in the country.

Dr. Poonia also made significant contribution while serving as a Director, NITTTR, Chandigarh for the growth and development of technical education in the northern states of India and to conduct of sub-regional and in-country programmes in collaboration with Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education, Manila, Philippines. Under his able leadership, the institute had to its credit the conduct training programme for Nigeria. He was the member of as many as more than 20 Government/Autonomous Bodies/Universities in the state of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Delhi and Chandigarh while at NITTTR, Chandigarh. Dr. M.P.Poonia is Advisor of the Sustainable Business Network of United Nations ESCAP Business Advisory Council www.ebac.unescap.org

Dr. Poonia emphasized on quality education, good governance, e-learning towards digital India, Go-Green Environment, skill development and assisted to University Grant Commission, National Board of Accreditation, NAAC, Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) and Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) of India for their academic achievements.

He visited many countries like USA, China, Canada, Thailand, U.K, Singapore, Taiwan, Sri Lanka & Australia.

 

Prof. S.L. Dhingra

He is an Institute Chair Professor from Civil Engineering Department, IIT, Mumbai. He was the faculty at REC Jaipur, IIT Delhi & Mumbai. He is having professional membership of technical bodies like Indian Roads Congress, IUT (India), ATDI (Founder Member, Secretary), Highway Specifications & Standards Committee of India Roads Congress, International Scientific Committee of World Conference on Transportation Research Society (WCTRS), Task Force on Urban Transportation for 10 five year plan (2002-2007), Constituted by Ministry of Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation.

 

 

Mr. Atul Gupta

He has over 30 years of experience in architecting computer application solution for his clients. The latest 17 years of experience has been with IBM Global Services as Executive Architect, Application Innovation Services, Center of Excellence in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is a member of the IBM Information Technology Architect Certification Board and IBM Technical Strategy Board.

 

Mr. A.K.Jain

He is currently working as Managing Director, Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd. He obtained is Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from MREC, Jaipur and Post Graduation, degree in Business Management from Bharti Vidyapeeth. During his professional tour of 30 years, he has done remarkable job in all sectors of REIL. He has expertise in developing & deploying Milk Analysis and Automation Solution in Dairy Industry from cattle to consumer, Renewable Energy Solutions mainly Solar Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal and Solar – Wind – Thermal Hybrid, Industrial Electronics & Information technology Solutions for Dairy, Electoral, Education and Rural Banking.

 

Dr. Deep Pandey

Dr. Deep Pandey (Indian Forest Services 1988 Batch) is currently working as a Director, Forestry Training Institute, Jaipur, Rajasthan & Member Secretary, Rajasthan Pollution Control Board. He has 23 years of work experience across management, academics, science and public policy. He has also worked on short research assignments for many UN and other organizations.

He is the recipient of several honors including the Indira Priyadarshini Vriksha Mitra Award (IPVM) for 1994. He is also in the Editorial Board of International Research Journal Forests, Trees and Livelihoods.

 

Prof. D. P. Kothari

He is the recipient of National Khosla Lifetime achievement Award [2005] from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Eminent Engineering Personality from the Institution of Engineers [2001]. Prior to his assuming charge as Director General of RGI Nagpur he was Director General of VGI Indore (2010-2011) .He served as Vice Chancellor of VIT University for 3 years (2007 – 2010). He served as Director i/c, IIT, Delhi [2005], Deputy Director [Administration], IIT, Delhi [2003-06], Principal, VRCE, Nagpur [1997-98], Head, Centre for Energy Studies, IIT, Delhi [1995-97]. He was visiting professor at RMIT, Melbourne, Australia in 1982-83 and 1989 for two years.Prof. Kothari is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering [FNAE], Indian National Academy of Sciences [FNASc], Institution of Engineers [FIE] and Fellow, IEEE.

 

Prof. Akhtar Kalam

He is currently working as Professor and Discipline leader, Electrical & electronic engineering at Victoria University. He has been at Victoria University since 1985 and was a former Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health, Engineering and Science for 7 years. He has wide experience in educational institutions and industry across four continents. He received his B.Sc. and B.Sc. Engineering from Calcutta University and Aligarh Muslim University, India in 1969 and 1973 respectively. He completed his MS and Ph.D. at the University of Oklahoma, USA and the University of Bath, UK in 1975 and 1981 respectively. He has worked with Ingersoll Rand and other electrical manufacturers. He has held teaching appointments at the University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq and Capricornia Institute of Advanced Education, Rockhampton, Queensland.
